Lucas Alexiou

Senior Associate, Research

Lucas Alexiou is 23 years old and currently resides in Oshawa, Ontario. He is a Trent University honours graduate, with a Master of Arts in History. Lucas’s focus for research is Canadian Politics/Policy/Procedure, Settler/Indigenous Relations, and western Canadian political development during the twentieth century. Prior to graduate school, Lucas also completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, and a minor in Indigenous Studies.

Throughout various streams of employment at hospitals, municipal governments, and time at university, Lucas has become highly competent in tasks such as: research/data management; professional grade writing; public relations/community outreach, teaching, and critical problem analysis. He is passionate and highly aware of about the issues faced by Indigenous peoples in Canada. Working at CCAB will allow Lucas to do meaningful work in this sector, to better understand this important part of Canadian history.
