Public Policy Coordinator
Alisha Chohan is currently a final year Law Student, who is passionate about assessing the legal field through the lens of social policies that impact Indigenous and other underrepresented groups. Through her undergraduate in Psychology, Alisha has extensive work experience in the health, and mental health fields. She also currently serves as a pro bono legal researcher for an international not-for-profit, that provides legal representation to inmates who are on death row in the USA.
Alisha is passionate about legal academia and consulting, and aims to use her skills to improve the gaps in legislation that impact public policies and procedures. Her aim is to be a strong advocate for the economic growth of small and medium enterprises, sustainability and climate change initiatives. Having lived in four different countries, Alisha keenly enjoys traveling and trying different cuisines. She fluently speaks Punjabi and Hindi and is working towards improving her French.
