Program Coordinator – CDAP

Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) is a national Indigenous, non-partisan association. Our mission is to promote, strengthen and enhance a prosperous Indigenous economy through the fostering of business relationships, opportunities, and awareness.

The primary role of the Program Coordinator – CDAP will be to support the Program Manager of Entrepreneurship and the CDAP program department. In this role, the individual will be responsible for working with Indigenous led SMEs across Canada answering questions and providing digital adoption strategies to grow e-commerce. As well, CCAB is looking for a Program Coordinator to provide training support to e-commerce advisors who deliver digital strategies to Indigenous led businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grant program planning and coordination;
  • Provide ongoing support to a team of e-commerce advisors who are trained by our partner, Mosaic, to deliver digital strategies that support e-commerce;
  • Collaborate with marketing team;
  • Address inbound CDAP enquiries;
  • Customer service and stakeholder management;
  • Develop training materials, presentations, and reports;
  • Track program success;
  • Maintain programs database, content, and customer management systems; and
  • From time to time be available to speak to the goals of CDAP at trade shows, events, and conferences.

Skills & Work Experience:

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree or relevant work experience;
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience with e-commerce platforms that include: Shopify, HubSpot, Square, Bookmark, Lightspeed, Facebook, Google, eBay, Mastercard, PayPal, HubSpot, Square;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication;
  • Exceptional customer service and stakeholder management;
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office;
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style;
  • Previous experience with CRMs and with HubSpot is a very strong asset;
  • Experience with entrepreneurship programs is an asset;
  • Good judgement, discretion, tact, and the ability to work in a professional manner under tight deadlines and in an ever-changing environment; and
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision.

This is a REMOTE contract position with adhoc hours required to answer questions and provide training support to Indigenous led SMEs within Canada: Monday – Friday.
