The Hot Topics Series event in Thunder Bay “Recalibrating the Ring of Fire” held on April 10th, 2014 at the Valhalla Inn was standing room only providing the audience with insight into the Ring of Fire that clearly signaled dialogue is alive and well. Media turned out in force as well as interested participants from across the country.
The panel moderated by CCAB Board Member Michael Fox included Thunder Bay Mayor Keith Hobbs, Allan Coates President Noront Resources, Elsie MacDonald Webequie First Nation, Frank Iacobucci representing the Province of Ontario, Theresa Hall-Okimaw former Chief of Attawapiskat First Nation and Bob Rae Acting Advisor Matawa Tribal Council
The reception that followed continued the networking and exchange of ideas making the entire evening a great success on many levels.
