Maxine Trennert is a connector of people and interests and for 15 years led sustainable results with industry, Indigenous communities, and Major Projects. Early in her career, she realized how important respectful communication is for successful engagement programs. Maxine shares her Indigenous world view, ways of knowing, being and doing to develop reciprocal relationships.

Maxine leads Worley’s national strategy for new business ventures with Indigenous communities across Canada creating shared value projects and opportunities. As a member of the leadership team, she oversees Worley’s Reconciliation Journey, Indigenous Engagement Policy, and Indigenous Relations Steering Committee delivering Worley’s Strategic Vision.

Maxine completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from
the University of Alberta Faculty of Business. She held several leadership positions delivering operational
excellence, strategic partnerships and capacity building with Industry and Indigenous communities.
Maxine is passionate about preserving Indigenous culture and protecting traditional knowledge. She
enjoys time with elders, nieces, nephews, fall harvesting, beading and being in nature
