Aaron Cantor

Aaron is an experienced non-profit administrator with a professional history that includes fundraising, operations and community program development. He is the former Director of East York Learning Experience, an adult literacy and workplace preparation organization, the former President and Chair of Essential Skills Ontario, and was the International Operations Manager of the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative. An award-winning grant program which he developed in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. He has a BA in Rhetoric and Professional Writing from the University of Waterloo, with an interdisciplinary in Peace and Conflict Studies from Conrad Grebel College.
Aaron is of Sephardic heritage and shares Cree-Metis, Haudenosaunee and Irish Canadian ancestry with his father. In his spare time, he likes to hike, cook and read.
