Brian Day is a member of the Serpent River First Nation and resides in the community. Brian spent most of his life living in Toronto and moved back into the community in 2021.
While living in Toronto, Brian enjoyed a full career in the construction field as a project manager for over 20 years. In the past 10 years, Brian has owned a Contracting and Consulting business. His educational background is in Engineering at Sault College and Business administration at Seneca College.
Since returning to the community Brian has started a new small business venture in the hospitality industry and employs 5 members from the community. Brian has also headed a Meals on Wheels program for the Elders in the community and donates his time to the community when he can. When Brian is not working he enjoys connecting with land with his life partner and spending time with his grandkids.
