Pettersen Contracting is a locally owned and family operated construction company in the heart of the Foothills south of Calgary, Ab. Founded in 2007 by owner and President Lars Pettersen. Pettersen Contracting specializes in Commercial & Residential earthworks, road construction, water, storm, sanitary services, acreage development, site prep, site reclamation, trucking, transportation and commercial garbage bin supply and service.
In conjunction with our sister company Viking Rentals also owned by Lars Pettersen (established in 2012) we boast over 100 pieces of equipment at our disposal ranging from rock trucks, large excavators, graders, dozers, packers, skid steers, compact excavators, and walk behind plate tampers. The entire fleet is at the disposal of Pettersen Contracting to accomplish all scopes of work.
In 2019 Viking Rentals entered a partnership as the western Canadian dealer & parts distributor for Hydrema US supplying articulating rock trucks and back hoes with the goal of expanding the customer base.
