As President and owner of Bridging Innovations Inc., we focus on bridging the gap between Indigenous peoples, industry, business, and other organizations.  As a senior manager in the BC government, I managed more than 100 employees at the management, supervisory and employee levels.  After a 35-year career, I retired and established an active Indigenous relations consulting company located in Kamloops, BC.  Having both Gitxsan First Nation and non-First Nation heritage, I understand and effectively relate to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, cultures, and communities.

I am proud that my company has the most relevant expertise in Canada regarding the Progressive Aboriginal Relations™ (PAR) program.  I was a PAR Verifier for six years with Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB), and was for many years, a PAR consultant assisting organizations across Canada.  Having extensive experience in facilitation of Indigenous-focused strategic plans, I use a system that is clear, concise, and is proven to be successful in achieving organizational goals and targets.

Previously as a PAR Verifier, and currently as a PAR consultant, I have delivered services to both large and small organizations in the fields of: accounting, building maintenance, construction, environmental, financial, forestry, government corporations, health and safety, law, mining, modular homes, oil and gas, powerlines, universities, workforce accommodation, and uranium; all directly involving Indigenous suppliers, contractors, and partnerships.

As a consultant, I currently work with organizations in all aspects of the PAR program including the PAR Committed & PAR Certified programs, and more recently, the Small Business Program (up to 50 employees), and those involved with universities and schools, both of which have specialized PAR criteria.

I can save an organization’s leaders and employees substantial time and effort in Indigenous relations because I know exactly what needs to be done to develop & maintain highly successful PAR programs.  Clients respect and appreciate my company’s foundational values of Trust, Honesty, Integrity, and Transparency.
