Jaadaas Jagwaa

Associate, Supply Change™

Jaadaas is an experienced business professional and entrepreneur of Haida/ Nisga’a descent. She descends from the Tsiits Gitanee Northern Eagle clan of Haida Gwaai, BC, Canada, she is a warrior by ceremony, her warrior name is Longfeather.

She is a former subject matter expert for systems and platforms such as payroll, procurement and customer service, with a background in the heavy-duty equipment, trucks, mining and power systems industries. She left her long term employer to become an entrepreneur in Indigenous fitness and is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher.

Jaadaas adapted her business to focus on bringing Indigenous artwork and events to her home community of Airdrie, AB after identifying the need for proper Indigenous leadership within the community. She’s taken her experience and has served local not-for-profits as a volunteer and cultural advisor.

It is with great honour as a warrior to use her experience with business, entrepreneurship, technology and Indigenous activism to serve the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Businesses. Her mission is to serve and uplift the Indigenous communities of Turtle Island.

She is mother to two adorable Haida/ Nisga’a/ Mi’kMaq red heads, who she is committed to raising without multi-generational historical trauma and the freedom to live authentically Indigenous in a good way. She enjoys participating in Indigenous events and ceremonies and creating dreamcatchers and meaningful works of art. In addition, to supporting and being an active participant in the community.
