Alex Janavicius Bio

Alex Janavicius is the Director, Rack Forward Strategy at Petro-Canada, a Suncor Energy business. His career spans nearly twenty-five years working in both the Financial and Energy sectors. For the last sixteen years, he has worked at Suncor Energy in a variety of positions focused on advancing the Petro-Canada brand in the retail and wholesale channels. A broad range of experiences in operations, asset management, marketing and strategy development have given Alex the insight to provide solutions for petroleum business opportunities in the Canadian marketplace.

In his current role Alex has national responsibilities centered on working with Aboriginal communities to develop long term relationships and foster business development opportunities. This work has provided him with a stronger appreciation of Aboriginal history, values and beliefs.

Alex holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Western University and a Masters of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. He was born and raised in Ontario where he lives with his wife and 2 children.
