2014 Toronto Gala – Photos

On February 4, the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) welcomed just shy of 500 guests to our 16th Annual Toronto Gala at the Ritz Carlton hotel.

William MacLeod, former President and CEO, Cree Construction Development Company was inducted into the 2014 Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business’ (CCAB) Aboriginal Business Hall of Fame. The ABHF recognizes Aboriginal persons whose business leadership and commitment to community have made a substantive contribution to the economic and social well-being of Aboriginal people and communities.

The CCAB and ESS, a member of Compass Group Canada, are pleased to introduce the National Youth Aboriginal Entrepreneur of the Year award recipient Savannah Olsen, Owner, Old Faithful Shop. This award recognizes an up-and-coming Aboriginal entrepreneur under the age of 35 and recipient of a $10,000 financial reward.

The CCAB would like to thank Elyse Allen, President and CEO of GE Canada and Vice President, GE for being our Keynote speaker; Kim Parlee, Vice President, TD Wealth Management and Host of MoneyTalk, our Master of Ceremonies, and Missy Knot and Derek Miller for being our entertainers for the evening.
