Kate has 35 years of planning, managing and executing a variety of events. She began her event career at a grass-roots non-profit promoting children’s literacy, moved on to planning and executing fundraising events for women and children escaping violence, and spent 12 years planning and managing fundraising and corporate events at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto.
Kate has been with CCIB for 5 years and is honoured to work for an organization that is bringing together Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs together at events across the country to promote economic prosperity.
