Your syilx Sisters is a culturally informed communication and marketing firm that developed the q’sapi training, a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive communications training, that teaches folks how to enact authentic kinship-building practices with those they serve. As well as communication and marketing services that support community storytelling, including professional photography, interviewing, and story crafting while following cultural protocols and trauma-informed practices. They follow their cultural protocols in the work they do, meaning they also honour data sovereignty in their work. All data gathered as part of a project is returned to the rightful owners, the people from whom it comes. During mentorship time, we can also support the team in content development training, media training, press writing, etc. sensitivity reading and cultural editing services.
