Yellow Thunder Horse Ranch offers personalized equine assisted programs to individuals, groups, couples, families, schools, and corporations. The horses are used to facilitate a process of self-discovery, learning, and healing as participants interact with the horses in a safe, fun, and non-threatening environment.
The programming focuses on verbal and non-verbal communication, leadership, team building, problem solving, conflict resolution, peer relationships, trust, respect, self-esteem, confidence, connection, bullying, behavioral, trauma, and much more. Participants are engaged and develop a relationship with the horse, and others while in self-discovery. The horse can become an emotional outlet, and a best friend. Participants will learn who they are as individuals and choose to either embrace or change themselves. All sessions conclude with a debriefing, sharing circle, and a sacred walk with the horse that encourages participants to make connections between their interactions with the horses and their own personal lives, relationships, and circumstances.
With our Indigenous team, there is meaningful participation and engagement of the participants because we can understand and relate to each other. The healing tools are passed down to the students promoting overall health and well being where they strive to be better within themselves, their family, and their communities.
