Introduction;
The word Se’mant (Smé•nt) means rock, or mountain in Katzie Native language, the President of the company, Seth Miller comes from many generations of Katzie’s. Seth has 15 years experience in deep excavation, utility upgrades throughout the lower mainland as well as a deep understanding of road building and subdivision development. Se’mant Contractors Inc. team has more than 100 years experience in Heavy Civil Construction, and is always looking to improve our core, and our Safety.
Equipment;
Se’mant has a large variety of equipment ranging from excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, to highway trucks, rock trucks, and screen plants.
Our vision;
We are creative, from design build to installing complex utility systems, have a strong determination in helping our clients to stay on budget, and schedule. Our integrity is instilled in each of us through our weekly management and team members meetings, we concentrate on quality, and do not accept sub standards.
Communications;
Each job is treated as it is our first one. Every Monday, management has a huddle, on up coming work, work completed, lessons learned, field communications, and safety. We believe in a strong communication system, where listening has become the most important asset learned from Seth himself.
Risk Management;
We identify risk, mitigate negative risk, and bring positive risk forward to our clients. Through several procedures we limit the risk of human error.
