About Safeglo Luminous Systems

Safeglo Luminous Systems aims to make the world a better place through the promotion of safety and environmental consciousness.

Founded in 1997 by Frank Meawasige, an Anishinaabe from Serpent River First Nation, the company specializes in photoluminescent wayfinding and emergency egress safety systems for residential, commercial and industrial properties of all sizes. Initially, the product was a solution to the problem exposed by the World Trade Centre tragedy in 1993: if the lights go out and backup generators fail, there was no way for people to find their way to safety. Now, after years of research and development, Safeglo signage is featured in some of Canada’s most important developments, including First Canadian Place, the tallest commercial building in the country. Safeglo looks to continuously expand, creating safer places for people to live and work while contributing to a better tomorrow for the planet we all share.

Making the world safer one sign at a time. For more information about the company, our mission or how to get a quote for your property, email info@safeglo.ca
