Ochitow Lifestyle & Design is 100% Indigenous woman owned and operated by Vivian McDonald. Brought up in a culturally rich environment Vivian has always practiced and lived a cultural lifestyle.
Ochitow – means “natural” or “that’s the way it is”
Vivian strives to live a natural lifestyle and the designs she creates are derived from nature. Inspired by her Cree/Iroquois roots as well as nature and the land, she creates high-quality authentic fashion, art and jewellery pieces stitched by hand. The hides utilized are hand/natural tanned by Vivian.
Vivian also offers instruction in naturally tanning hides and in beadwork.
Vivian also offers services as an Indigenous Advisor as well as a Traditional Land Use Expert/Coordinator.
