General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) is a global leader in the design, production, and support of land and expeditionary combat systems. GDLS-Canada is the center of excellence for Light Armoured Vehicles (LAVs) within General Dynamics Land Systems.
Located in London, Ontario, GDLS-Canada is an important hub for resources with the competencies and skills to execute program management, procurement, engineering (systems, design, project, and logistics), production and initial fielding and long-term in-service support of our products. Revenues exceeded 1.9 billion CAD in 2021.
We are committed to the creation of long-term socio-economic benefits for Indigenous peoples, businesses and communities and to both increasing Indigenous participation in the Canadian economy and, more specifically, in the defence industry.
These benefits will derive from the employment of Indigenous persons, procurement of goods and services from Indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs, and other educational, skills development and philanthropic initiatives developed in collaboration with our Indigenous and non-Indigenous partners.
