Christine, a proud Métis Nation of Alberta member, brings over 25 years of finance, accounting, strategy, and risk management expertise. As VP of Finance, she is dedicated to advancing opportunities for Indigenous businesses, aligning with CCAB’s mission to promote, strengthen, and enhance a prosperous Indigenous economy through fostering business relationships, opportunities, and awareness for all members.

Christine holds multiple board positions. During her tenure as Board Chair, she played a vital role in the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation receiving recognition for the Program/Shelter Turnaround of the Year. Additionally, the foundation was honored with the Outstanding Youth Initiative of the Year award for the Inspire Program and received Inspiration in Leadership in Family Violence in 2022 from the Government of Alberta for the Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART).  Beyond this, Christine serves as Board President of Caregivers Alberta, Board Treasurer at Edmonton John Howard Society, and Board Director for Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters, showcasing her commitment to making impactful social change.

During the summer, Christine enjoys family time on Quadra Island, B.C., immersed in its beauty and tranquility.
