Michael is a member of the Curve Lake First Nation and brings a unique leadership profile to his leadership activities. As the current CEO of Cambium Indigenous Professional Services (CIPS) Inc. Michael’s speciality is management and community advisory services for projects that connect to Indigenous communities.
Michael has worked in an advisory role on First Nation projects in energy, health, economic development, infrastructure development, governance, housing and environmental stewardship. Michael is a confident project manager and works seamlessly with all levels of governments, leadership, staff and community members. Michael’s unique ability to translate the needs of all stakeholders into a language that is understood and relevant to a variety of audiences, ensures that communication and information exchanges have value to all participants.
Michael was a past Chair of an Indigenous Capital Corporation and has recently joined the Board of Directors of Green Communities Canada. Michael is proud to be the Co-Chair for Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business and brings his unique voice for small and medium sized Indigenous owned businesses located on our Territories.
