West Coast Indigenous Teacher is an Indigenous-owned education business based on the West Coast of Canada. Founded by a First Nations educator and mother, our mission is to support teachers in bringing authentic, respectful Indigenous content into the classroom. We offer thoughtfully designed, classroom-ready resources that honour Indigenous perspectives, voices, and cultures with a special focus on the land now known as Canada.
Through printables, art-based activities, and inquiry projects, we help educators foster meaningful conversations about Indigenous identity, history, and connection to land. Our best-selling products include resources for Orange Shirt Day, National Indigenous Peoples Day, and Indigenous Veterans Day, as well as art and literacy bundles rooted in cultural teachings.
By centering Indigenous knowledge and creativity, we aim to make Indigenous education more accessible for all teachers — whether they’re just beginning their journey or looking to deepen their practice. Every resource is created with care, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to truth and reconciliation.
