SRB Technologies (Canada) Inc.

SRB Technologies (Canada) Inc. (SRBT) is a locally owned company that has been in operation in Pembroke, Ontario since 1990. The company currently employs 41 hard working local residents.

SRBT manufactures self luminous lighting products that use capsules that are filled with tritium gas as a source of illumination. Tritium is a relatively weak source of beta radiation and is produced naturally and also produced as a by-product of electrical generating stations.

SRBT’s products are maintenance free and work without batteries and electricity and are widely used in areas where power is not readily available. Our signs are used to illuminate the way in various commercial buildings, mines and sewer systems. SRBT also manufactures many illuminated products for the Canadian, American and British military. Our products are also installed in a number of aircrafts to illuminate escape doors and routes.

In April 2020 SRBT developed a business plan to redeploy some of its production capacity towards the mass production of Face Shields to help fight COVID-19.

SRBT is transparent, visible and open with the community and regularly provides information to the public about its operations.
