Recycle-It is a locally owned, family operated and 100% status first nations owned business. The company was started in 2011 with the goal creating Zero Waste in the Peace River Regional District. The company has completed two LEED-certified C&D recycling projects in Fort St John. One of which achieved the highest recycling rate on a LEED-certified project in the PRRD – 96.25% diversion.
Recycle-It has been providing recycling processing services in the Peace Region since 2017. We operate a full service recycling depot in Fort St John, BC for regular household recyclables (paper, cardboard, containers, soft plastics, Styrofoam and flexible packaging) along with electronics, small appliances, batteries, large appliances, propane bottles, light bulbs, paint, cooking oil and scrap metal. Both residential and commercial loads are accepted at this facility. We also offer commercial recycling collection as well as confidential on-site paper shredding.
