Polar Oils is proud to be one of Saskatchewan’s eldest petroleum marketers and distributors, est. 1982, and one of the few indigenous owned suppliers in the industry. Representing nine First Nations from northern Saskatchewan the company originated from the north to service the demands of the most remote communities and their related industry activities.
Polar Oils supplies fuel, lubricants, and related equipment to three primary sales; residential heating demands, commercial end-users, and on-reserve retail fuel stations. Over a third of our business relates to suppling and supporting our First Nation shareholders on-reserve gas stations. Through the use of third-party carriers, Polar is capable of supplying and serving our shareholder member nations, government and commercial fuel and lubricant demands throughout western Canada.
Our mission is to provide vital fuels to the most remote rural customers and communities all year-round. We believe everyone is entitled to fast, fair, and quality service regardless of where they come from. Polar is proud to operate as an independent fuel supplier in space historical dominated by “big-Oil” brands.
