ABOUT
DEVIN GAMBLER: PRINCIPAL/OWNER
Born in Grande Prairie, AB, Devin is a Jean Baptiste Gambler Reserve member –
part of Bigstone Cree Nation. He is Woodland’s Cree & his first language is Cree.
He has been raised traditionally & spiritually. Shirley Gambler (mother) & Irvin
Sunshine (father) are his parents. He is happily married to Cicyetkwu & calls Kamloops their home with their three boys, aged 1, 15, and 25. Devin moved to
BC in 1994 and completed high school at Norkam Sr. Secondary, followed by
studies at NVIT for the Business Administration diploma program. He is currently completing his MBA this December, 2023 at Thompson Rivers University (Kamloops, BC).
HIGHLIGHTS
• Business professional with over 15 years of experience in management teams from postsecondary, corporate, non-profit, & First Nations government
• Secured over $35 million in funding from grant writing, partnership, & lobbying efforts for clients
• Extensive non-profit experience from starting two non-profits; to serving as director & executive leadership roles.
