Skilled Trades BC is a provincial Crown Corporation responsible for managing BC’s industry training and apprenticeship system to develop the skilled workforce needed to ensure the competitiveness and economic prosperity of BC.
Skilled Trades BC works collaboratively with employers, industry, training providers, labour unions, school districts, government and other stakeholders to provide more than 100 active apprenticeship training programs throughout British Columbia, including more than 40 Red Seal trades. These training programs include apprenticeship, which combines technical and work-based training, and in-school foundation programs, which are entry points to apprenticeship.
