About Indigenous Treaty Partners

Indigenous Treaty Partners offer a robust Indigenous cultural awareness training program for Board of Directors, Corporate Directors, Management, and General staff. These training programs are flexible and can be delivered online or in-person.

The program meets each individual where they are at in the journey of reconciliation and brings them to a point they feel comfortable acting as an ally to their Indigenous neighbors.

The Partners believe that mutual understanding is the bedrock of positive working relationships. This Program shares knowledge and insight into what it means to be Indigenous in Canada and how businesses can be better allies.

Indigenous cultural training can enhance cultural sensitivity, competence and most importantly eliminate the risk of major miscommunication.

The Partners have over 15+ years of experience working in and for Indigenous communities. Their expertise lies in a Two-Eyed seeing approach, combining traditional Indigenous knowledge with scientific settler-knowledge and experience to bridge the gap between these groups.

The Program has been developed with the help of over 15 industry experts from across Canada. These include both Indigenous and non-Indigenous professionals from various backgrounds such as: consultants, professors, and traditional knowledge keepers, to create a robust curriculum in the spirit of reconciliation.
