About TICG’s Services:

The Indigenous Consulting Group will offer PAR Facilitation services and Cultural Awareness training based off the CCAB certification pillars with Indigenous trainers, complimented with subject matter advisors. TICG will present to companies general, historical, and Indigenous common life experiences followed by contemporary Indigenous issues while linking business best practices in communication, collaboration, sustainability and mutual respect and understanding tailored to provincial and regional realities. The approach is to be interactive and experiential in a psychologically safe environment for participants. Training will also be offered in French.

About Robert Auclair: 

Robert Auclair is a member of the Whapmagoostui First Nation, Cree Nation of Eeyou Istchee in Northern Quebec. He is a status First Nation Cree and a Cree beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement of 1975.

Robert is currently the Business Development Officer for CREECO (Cree Regional Economic Enterprises Company 1982). It is a wholly owned Indigenous holding company that manages other successful Cree businesses such as Air Creebec 1985, Cree Construction 1977, Gestion ADC 1996, Valpiro, Quality Inn & Suites Val d’Or 2011 and Eeyou Eenou Realty Properties.

Robert is a former Director of Youth Protection/Provincial Director for the Cree Health Board from 2009-2019 and a former Police Officer/Senior Officer/Investigator, career that spanned 15 years. Robert has served in several other capacities, all in the service of his people, the Eeyou (the People) of Eeyou Istchee (the land of the People). Robert was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Cree Health Board this past February 2023.

Robert is a graduate from Dawson College and a graduate of an A.E.C. in Police Technology from John Abbott College. He received his bachelor’s from Concordia University in 2000. In 2015, he received a Leadership Certificate from the Institute of Leadership from John Molson School of Business.

In 2019, Robert obtained a Graduate Diploma in Health and Social Services Management from McGill University. He recently obtained an Executive master’s in business administration in 2022 through a joint bilingual program at McGill University and HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) Montreal. He was a recipient of the Indigenous candidate grant.

Robert in August of 2023 co-founded a majority owned indigenous lead consulting company with partner Bruno Pereira called The Indigenous Consulting Group. Its aim is to provide PAR and CAT training as well as be Facilitators and Verifiers for the CCAB in the French language for corporations and multi nationals in the province of Quebec and elsewhere, ICG is also aimed at providing strategic management services to Indigenous organizations that want and require assistance with respect to indigenous knowledge, values, perspectives, and beliefs in training of cultural sensitivity, awareness, safety and competency.

About Bruno Pereira: 

Bruno Pereira is a Senior Advisor/Manager with more than 20 years of experience who prioritizes a human and participatory approach above all. He specializes in providing public relations and economic and business development services for First Nations and non-First Nations Governments and organizations in Canada and Europe. He also initiated several M&As and facilitated negotiations leading to public-private community partnerships.

He currently works for BP2 Consulting, a firm he founded in 2010, where he supports companies locally and internationally in their restructuration or expansion strategies. Bruno is a former CEO of Tawich Distribution from 2014-2019 (Wemindji Cree Nation) and QXMC from 2019-2022 (Klahoose First Nation).

Bruno is a HEC Montréal Alumni and recently acquired the Certified Sustainability Practitioner Certification from the Center of Sustainability and Excellence (Dubai). He also recently graduated from an Executive MBA in 2022 through a joint bilingual program at McGill University and HEC Montreal.
