AS Williams Consulting is committed to working collaboratively with indigenous communities, government, and industry by facilitating respectful and informed dialogue through experience and an awareness of cultural history and knowledge. The goal is to develop and maintain meaningful partnerships that will help progress, positive change and reconciliation driving inclusion, socio-economic equality and betterment for First Nations, Inuit and Métis Communities.

AS Williams Consulting will support community led initiatives including capacity throughout with assistance in the following areas:

Negotiations: With a strong background in legal, consultation, negotiations and mediation services we are well versed in leading and advising communities on claim processes, demonstrating a commitment to finding solutions that strengthen partnerships among First Nation communities.

Strategic Planning: We will help our clients develop the foundation for successful community-lead initiatives that empower Indigenous communities to identify their priorities and meet their ongoing objectives.

Engagement and Consultation: With over 20 years of experience building Indigenous Relations Programs for corporate Canada’s engagement with Indigenous communities, we are committed to supporting foundational components of economic development, resource sharing/participation, community investment, employment, and Indigenous Relations.

Facilitation: We have been facilitating meetings, conferences and gatherings for the past 20 years.  A full complement of facilitation services are available.

Reconciliation: Based on the Truth and Reconciliation’s Calls to Action and Reconciliation Principles, we pride ourselves in our ability to help our clients build and maintain constructive and collaborative relationships.

Business Development: We believe that providing a solid background in strategic business planning and economic development initiatives build economic success, leading to positive financial benefits across communities.

Cultural Awareness: With an advanced knowledge of Indigenous and First Nations’ history and culture, we can help navigate cultural customs and practices to ensure a respectful and a mutually beneficial working relationship.
