Kallie Wood 

President & CEO

National Circle for Indigenous Agriculture and Food (NCIAF) (Moose Jaw, SK)

Kallie Wood is the President and CEO of the National Circle for Indigenous Agriculture and Food (NCIAF) and a member of Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation on Treaty Four Territory in Saskatchewan. With 35 years of leadership experience, Kallie previously served as Senior Indigenous Advisor for the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of Saskatchewan. She holds a Master of Leadership and Management and is a mother and grandmother, with additional experience as a foster parent.

A lifelong learner, Kallie specializes in organizational change, strategic planning, and relationship-building, with a focus on reconciliation and Indigenous engagement. She has extensive board experience and currently serves on several Boards of Governors, advocating for Indigenous inclusion in agriculture and food systems. Raised in a community rooted in agriculture, Kallie is passionate about supporting First Nation, Inuit, and Métis peoples in sustainable agriculture and food opportunities.

Kallie has been recognized for her commitment to reconciliation, most recently named one of the 22 most empowered women internationally in 2023. She is a respected keynote speaker and advisor, dedicated to fostering deeper conversations and advancing Indigenous ways of knowing. Kallie’s work connects communities, builds partnerships, and empowers future generations by honouring traditions, land, and Mother Earth.
