KD Management & Consulting is a multi-disciplinary, 100% Indigenous Woman owned management consulting social enterprise bringing people together and connecting them with the knowledge and resources they seek to impact change. Mission driven, we are invested in longevity to elevate the voices of those who have been silenced and those who are changing our world for the better.
Empowering entrepreneurs and communities to grow and do meaningful and impactful work, KD Management & Consulting leads with an Indigenous worldview and implements strategy, relationship stewardship & strategic partnerships for co-creation and economic development of the Indigenous economy.
Founder & CEO Kassondra Walters’ unique value proposition is her caring heart and the courage to be vulnerable, speaking truth with her clients in the spirit of growth and prosperity. Kassondra builds trust with others by walking beside them, modelling Indigenous values, supporting, and championing them on their journey.
Launched out of survival, after two terminations in 11 months in the corporate world following 25 years of work experience, Kassondra, a graduate of NSCC’s International Business Advanced Diploma program decided she was listening to the Universe and would no longer work for a corporation or organization, rather with them in collaboration and community building as an independent consultant with KD Management & Consulting.
Choosing contracts that align with our Mission to educate, empower, and uplift women, Indigenous women, youth, and protect and preserve the environment KD Management & Consulting aligns our work with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) #11; Sustainable Cities and Communities, with Founder & CEO, Kassondra serving as a volunteer Board Member with the Shepherds of Good Hope, in Ottawa, whose Mission is to end chronic homelessness through supportive housing. #16; Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by uplifting and elevating the voices of marginalized populations, women, and youth; and #17; Partnerships for the Goals, collaborating with corporate partners and sponsors, not-for-profit organizations, and associations with the goal of uplifting and empowering marginalized entrepreneurs in the spirit of social justice.
KD Management & Consulting donates 5% of annual revenue to the Woodland Cultural Centre in Brantford, ON whose Mission is to protect, promote, interpret, and present the Hodinohsho:ni worldview.
