Everisto Mupanguri, Senior Account Manager for Small Businesses, BDC

Everisto Mupanguri is a Senior Account Manager for Small Businesses at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC). He has been working closely with Canadian entrepreneurs in western Canada for over a decade.

Born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, he started his banking career working for Standard Chartered Bank. In 2001, he came to Canada as a student and later joined ATB Financial, where he did Agriculture and Business lending for close to 3 years. He joined BDC in 2010 as an Account Manager and has been doing business development ever since.

Everisto holds a degree in Business Economics from the University of Saskatchewan. While working for BDC, he completed a master’s degree in Global Business Management and a post Graduate Certificate in Project Management through the Royal Roads University in Victoria BC. His studies led him to travel in various countries such as Germany and Austria where he was able to build a solid international professional network.

Throughout his career, Everisto has acquired key skills and experience focusing on the betterment of the people behind Canadian businesses. He is passionate about community and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and Edmonton’s Food Bank.
