About Stratus E&I

Stratus Electrical and Instrumentation was founded in 2014 with the purpose of creating a service company that focuses on people who are committed to making your projects easier to manage. Projects with us run smoother because our people truly care about what they’re doing—because it’s their passion, not just a job.

With over 25 years of electrical construction industry experience, Stratus has fostered and leveraged relationships and partnerships from over the years and is focused on understanding people and companies. 5 months into business, Stratus had grown to 90 employees working in many different market sectors. Today, Stratus employs over 150 employees, working in a multitude of diverse industries.

We spend a lot of time and energy developing our people because they’re the difference makers. They’re responsible for each other’s safety, the quality they put forward, and the experience you feel when working with our team. Our commitment to our people and customers finds itself manifested in several philosophies which are prevalent in our work.

These include:

Safety Philosophy.
Everyone returns home safely every day. We believe that all occupational injury and property damage is preventable. Through our commitment to providing our employees with the necessary support, training, equipment, technology and procedures, zero incidents is an attainable statistic.

Quality Philosophy.
Our commitment to the quality of our end product is second to none. We understand that our job is to make our customers look good to the stakeholders that they represent. If we can provide a product that is easily commissioned and maintained the benefits for the owner are substantial.

Project Management Philosophy.
A successfully managed project from start to finish always begins with a detailed project execution plan which is developed through effective communication with all involved parties. This plan will include a path forward for the management of all aspects of the project such as safety, quality, resources, cost, scope, risk, procurement and performance among others. The plan is communicated to all for review, comment, and revise until all parties are satisfied with the project path from pre-construction through to turnover.
