The Lyle McLeod Consulting Group creates maximum value for clients by putting strategy into action. The Principal of the consulting group, Lyle McLeod, MBA CMA, has extensive senior executive experience working for both First Nations organizations and the federal government.
A proven track record in consulting, negotiating, strategic management, operations management, communications and public relations, Lyle has garnered experience as General Manager & Chair of Wakenagun Community Futures; an Ontario regional economic development corporation; CEO for Bigstone Health Commission, and four Bigstone Cree Nation for-profit organizations situated in the Treaty 8 territory in northern Alberta. Notably, Bigstone Health Commission remains the only organization in Canada that administers the Non-Insured Health Benefits program for its’ members.
A recent milestone is the completion of a two-year Interchange Agreement with Health Canada (Alberta Region) as the Director, Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB). In previous roles working with First Nations organizations, Lyle was a member of national NIHB working committees.
Born and raised in Moose Factory, Ontario, Lyle credits his appreciation and commitment to life long learning from his Mom, a retired Cree language teacher, and credits his Dad for instilling the values of intergity and a good work ethic.
