Bentwood Skateboards is a Canadian Indigenous owned commercial skateboard brand, offering professional quality boards and clothing, feature indigenous artwork. We not only support indigenous artists but also sponsor some of the best indigenous skateboarders as brand ambassadors. These brand ambassadors are not only great in their sport but are also expected to be mentors to young indigenous people across Canada. So, when customers purchase or boards, it’s a chance to truly put reconciliation into action.
Owned by Brenda Knights who is from the Kwantlen First Nation, also with lineage to Musqueam and Choctaw Nations, Brenda is partnered with Jason Bothe otherwise known as Renee Renee. In addition to his work as an actor, a musician and artist, Jason and is well known in the skateboarding world. He is an ambassador for Canada’s Olympic Skateboard team and attends numerous skateboard events as an MC both in Canada and in the USA. He’s been on Fuel TV (ESPN owned). He is well connected on a personal level to some of the top skateboarders in the world. Jason was a brand ambassador for Native and DC shoes where he managed to help bring those brands to a global scale. A key to his success with those brands is having access to influencers in the marketplace, something Bentwood skateboards is planning on taking full advantage of.
Bentwood Skateboards is able to work with Canadian retailers to offer product at wholesale prices. Not only do we offer skateboards but also have a full and extensive clothing line.
