Darian Holiday
Darian Holiday is a member of the Mishkeegogamang First Nation, located in Treaty 9 territory. He currently resides in Treaty 7 territory and lives on a small hobby farm, where he enjoys connecting with the land and supporting his community. Darian holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Lakehead University and a Business diploma from the University of Calgary.
In addition to his academic background, Darian is passionate about preserving and sharing Indigenous knowledge. He has taught students traditional Indigenous harvesting techniques, fostering a deeper understanding of sustainable practices and cultural traditions.
When he’s not working or teaching, Darian spends much of his spare time helping on the farm and commissioning art pieces, creating works that reflect his unique blend of cultural heritage and contemporary perspectives.
