J.P. Gladu
President and CEO

JP Gladu has over two decades of experience in the natural resource sector working with Aboriginal communities and organizations, environmental non-government organizations, industry and governments from across Canada.  He has produced a number of publications related to First Nations issues including: forest certification, Native values collection, biofuel opportunities, First Nation community land use plans, criteria and indicators for sustainable forestry, and cedar product development. JP was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, completed a forestry technician diploma in 1993 and obtained an undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University in 2000. He also holds an Executive MBA from Queens University.

Natiea Vinson
Senior Manager, Programs

Natiea Vinson is a Salish member of theTk’emlúps te Secwépemc, with Dutch and Italian heritage. She hails from beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia where she first studied Aboriginal Culture and Politics at Langara College and then Art History and Studio Arts at Concordia University in Montréal. Natiea has extensive event and project management experience, including running of one the largest arts festivals in North America. Her interest in all areas of sustainable development has brought her to CCAB where she works to foster positive relations among Aboriginal communities and the business community of Canada.

Maya Kwasnycia, CMP
Senior Manager, Sponsorship & Events

Maya brings 5 years of event planning experience to the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business, and has had the privilege of working on two of the largest events in the city of Toronto including the FIFA Under 20 World Cup and most recently the PDAC International Convention, Trade Show and Investors Exchange – Mining Investment Show. Maya has worked at a not-for-profit Association for the past 3 years and brings a wide range of experience and knowledge to the CCAB. Maya holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Hotel and Tourism Management and has a diploma in Special Events and Destination Tourism.

Diane Gray
Membership Coordinator

Diane has numerous years of entrepreneurial “small business” experience ranging from clothing design, property management, real estate holdings, landscape and ground maintenance, including a school of martial arts. Prior to joining CCAB, she was the sales associate for Leadership Development and personal learning advisor for Aboriginal Leadership and Management at The Banff Centre. Born to the Turtle clan, Diane is Mohawk/Ojibwe from the Mississauga territory. She holds a Bachelor of Honours in Native Studies, diploma for Native Management and Economic Development, and continues her on-going professional development in leadership, business and economic development with a focus on building sustainable business relationships for, and with Aboriginal Peoples. Diane is council member for the Aboriginal Program Council at The Banff Centre, and a board director for Anishnawbe Health Toronto.

Luanne Whitecrow
Programs Coordinator

Luanne Whitecrow is an Ojibwa from the Seine River First Nation in Ontario. She graduated from the Toronto School of Business with diplomas in Micro Computer Business Applications, Network and Communications, and Office Administration. She has 5 years experience working within the Aboriginal community in the Greater Toronto Area, where she worked at the Aboriginal Business Resource Centre in marketing and promotion for the Toronto Aboriginal Business Association, its annual TABA Awards, and the Small Business Certificate Program. She played a key role in providing networking and guided support to Aboriginal artists in multiple disciplines: music, art, crafts, and other business ventures. Luanne has joined The Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business as a Programs Coordinator.

Bonnie Dack
Executive Assistant

Bonnie is a status Pottawatomi woman from the Moose Deer Point First Nations. She has worked in Aboriginal organizations in Toronto for the past 10 years which added experience to her resume that includes both finance and administrative duties. Bonnie has been a great help at CCAB in the past for various departments and is a welcome addition with her ability to adapt to changes with a sense of humour.

Caroline Louttit
Finance Coordinator 

Caroline is a Cree member from Attawapiskat First Nations who has worked in various capacities in not-for-profit sectors within Toronto, Moose Factory and Moosonee, Ontario.  Caroline’s proudest moments are obtaining her Business Accounting diploma from Canadore College, Payroll Compliance Practitioner certificate from Canadian Payroll Association and Public Administration advanced certificate from First Nations’ Technical Institute/Ryerson University.  Caroline is happy to be part of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business team and is looking forward to working with the rest of the team in reaching CCAB’s goals and objectives.
