CCAB is the country's leading non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the full participation of Aboriginal people in the Canadian economy. Our vision is of a Canada whose economic and social well-being is enhanced by the contributions of Aboriginal people, businesses and communities.

Aboriginal people represent a growing consumer market and an increasingly qualified source of labour. They are the fastest growing segment of Canada's population and are composed of dramatically different demographics. Currently over half of the Aboriginal population is under 25. It is estimated that the working-age Aboriginal population will grow by 72% by the year 2016 compared to 23% for the rest of the Canadian working-age population.

Aboriginal communities are asserting greater influence in the economy and control over access to land and resources. The Government of Canada has estimated that its contingent liability to Aboriginal individuals and communities could be as high as $200 billion dollars over the next two decades. The wealth on and under lands owned or claimed by Aboriginal communities across Canada is incalculable. CCAB is helping to create the relationships that will enable Aboriginal Canada to use the economic opportunities increasingly available to them to break the chains of dependency that have bound Aboriginal Canadians for so long.

This effort is creating great prospects for Aboriginal businesspeople and their partners, suppliers and customers. CCAB can help you get into the game - and help us to change the world, one company at a time.

For over 20 years, CCAB has been a broker of relationships - bridging the gap between the mainstream corporate sector and the Aboriginal community. CCAB works to improve the economic self-reliance of Aboriginal communities while assisting corporate Canada to work in mutually beneficial ways with Aboriginal people and businesses. We are the only national Aboriginal organization that neither seeks nor receives operational funding from government. We are also the only one to receive the endorsement of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce for our business-oriented programs.
