| 14th Annual Toronto Gala Tuesday, February 7, 2012 Four Seasons Toronto
On Tuesday, February 7, 2012, The Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) welcomed over 500 guests to our 14th Annual Toronto Gala at the Four Seasons hotel inToronto. Guests enjoyed a phenomenal 3 course dinner prepared by Chef Thomas Bellec and his team.
David Tuccaro, President of the Tuccaro Group of Companies of Fort Chipewyan, Alberta, and Gregory Koostachin, Founder of M. Koostachin & Sons Ltd., Attawapiskat, were introduced and inducted as the 2012 Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) Aboriginal Business Hall of Fame. The CCAB and ESS, a member of Compass Group Canada, are proud to support the annual call for nominations for the Aboriginal Business Hall of Fame (ABHF). The ABHF recognizes Aboriginal persons whose business leadership and commitment to community have made a substantive contribution to the economic and social well-being of Aboriginal people and communities. Laureates are from across Canada and represent Métis, Inuit, and First Nations persons. ESS, a member of Compass Group Canada, is the ABHF program’s founding and exclusive sponsor.
The Keynote Speaker was the Honourable Jim Prentice, Senior Executive Vice-President and Vice Chairman of CIBC. Guests also enjoyed entertainer Jim Cuddy, front man of Blue Rodeo, as well as Amanda Lang, the Master of Ceremonies .
